Default Costume Battles needs a slaughter rule

I've been on the losing side of a few matches where my team is down by at least 10 points or more and there is always someone who doesn't resign. Would it be possible to add a slaughter rule of some sort to prevent people from prolonging a lost match for 20 faction or pigheadedness?

My idea was, ages ago, that if the majority of your team resigns, you should be allowed to leave without getting a dishonour point.

But who listens to my crazy ideas?

Judging by the EXTREME popularity of this topic, most people including me thing it's a pointless rule.
It'd be unfair to the people who want the extra faction anyways..

You know everyone on one team left and there was just this pigheaded idiot who refused to resign.... Remember he was all by himself we had caped every shrine he had 0 points and every time he rez'd he was simply killed..... i dnt get those type of pplz i feel ur pain dude all those ppl on the other team had to leave and props get dishonorable. So perhaps there should be a system when if the majority of ur team resigns dishonorable hex is not given.

well making it so that a majority resign you can go without dishonor will make this so much more bearable, i too have been down buy a lot only to win back but those are rare.

QFT. It is possible to win, even if you are down by a lot.

The people who lose in Costume Brawl are often the people who give up the first time something goes wrong (ie, insult anybody who dies because they are clearly "noobs").

It is very possible to come back. After all, that is the POINT of the scoring system as it is.

I mean, the game is ONLY to 20. If it was a longer game type then, yeah a mercy rule would make sense, like the kind we have in alliance battles. But for a game that last like 5 miniutes... not worth it since the margin of victory is never going to be insurmountable.

The leave without a dishonor point if most people resign sounds like a fair rule to me.

Brawn Over Brains, you get faction faster by being on a winning party.

jiggles, Hawk, it is certainly possible to win, if you have the right team. Most of the time you don't. Sometimes you have an assassin who decides to solo the entire other team instead of capping. Sometimes you have a rit (who happens to be the only healer even though he sucks at it) on that small map who decides to not heal and run off and cap the other two. Sometimes you have a party that insists on stomping the two monks at nearly full health and completely ignores the squishy who is under 50% health even if you are repeatly calling the target.

Yes there are times when you can come back, but you can only work with the people you have.

Honestly, I think some ppl still don't know there's a resign command.
It can be annoying to have to wait out a lost match, but then again been in quite a few to make a comeback.

Would be nice to be able to leave w/o Dishonourable though if half the team resigned, but not all that necessary. The extra 1-2 mins of waiting never killed anyone lol.
Consider it a commercial break and go grab a snack, maybe? >.>

That or you can be like the complete idiot I had in my team 2 days ago (and i wish I printscreened it) who freaked out on me, thinking I was the person who didn't resign. Only to realize (I hope, because if he didn't then that's just sad) that I had resigned and it was another team member who hadn't.......so paying attention to what's going on before freaking out and making a fool of yourself would be the moral of te story.

As well, realize that yes there are those new to Costume Brawl. And leaving 5 seconds in because you think there's a "noob" on your team is stupid.

4v5 wins are possible, but not if the team gives up at the first sign of trouble. It's a competative area and you shouldn't go in expecting a victory to be handed to you......and I know I trailed off the topic there but oh well lol

Anyhow, since every now and then a person leaves too late on a last match and doesn't get replaced, some leniency on the Dishonourable points would be nice if half the team resigns.
